Healthy Halloween Treats

 



Fruity & Fun

  1. “Monster Mouths” – Apple slices with peanut butter and sunflower seeds or mini marshmallows as “teeth.”

  2. “Banana Ghosts” – Half bananas with dark chocolate chips for eyes and mouths.

  3. “Clementine Pumpkins” – Peel clementines and stick a small piece of celery on top for the stem.

  4. Fruit Skewers – Alternate chunks of melon, grapes, and pineapple on sticks for easy snacking.

Veggie Delights

  1. Jack-O’-Lantern Peppers – Hollow out orange bell peppers and carve little faces; fill with hummus or veggie sticks.

  2. Witch’s Broomsticks – Pretzel sticks pushed into string cheese halves.

  3. Pumpkin Hummus – Mix pureed pumpkin with hummus for an orange, seasonal twist.

Sweet but Smart

  1. Dark Chocolate–Dipped Strawberries – Dip strawberries in melted dark chocolate and let them harden.

  2. Homemade “Candy Bites” – Dates stuffed with almond butter and dipped in dark chocolate.

  3. Popcorn Balls – Mix air-popped popcorn with a little honey or maple syrup and form into balls. Add mini dark chocolate chips or dried fruit.

Spooky-Themed Snacks

  1. Pumpkin Muffins (Whole Wheat) – Naturally sweetened with banana or maple syrup.

  2. Yogurt Bark with Halloween Toppings – Spread Greek yogurt on a tray, add fruit, granola, and a few dark chocolate chips, freeze, and break into pieces.

  3. Spider Eggs – Deviled eggs topped with olive “spiders.”
