Pilates & Massage, the Golf Edition

Living in South Florida, we are accustomed to the golf lifestyle. Many clients visit us for pain and soreness from playing, or to improve their golf game. There are numerous techniques to reduce muscle tension and aid in proper follow-thru. As with any movements or exercises, stretches can be an excellent tool for increasing flexibility and rotation.

By combining Pilates exercises with massage therapy, the client is well equipped for ultimate performance. Pilates helps to strengthen the core muscles and increase flexibility in the hips and shoulders. There are specific movements that focus on the areas used for a strong swing and follow-thru. By targeting these areas, the client becomes more body conscious, which helps to maintain proper form.
